Baltimore medical device firm Perceptive Navigation LLC has secured a $3 million Small Business Innovation Research grant as it works to commercialize its first product. The grant was awarded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. Perceptive Navigation, a Johns Hopkins spinout, is previously backed by $500,000 in seed funding from the Maryland Venture Fund and the Abell Foundation, and a $1.4 million grant from NIH.
