A stately Baltimore County landmark — once considered the country estate of the founder of the Baltimore Sun — is about to hit the auction block. The Abell Mansion, built in 1892 for the newspaper’s founder and philanthropist Arunah S. Abell, will be sold at 11 a.m. on June 23 in an auction with no minimum bid.
