Silver Spring is the latest neighborhood to have a food hall on the drawing board with a 15,000-square-foot hall and market planned for the new Solaire 8200 Dixon apartment building at 8200 Dixon Ave. Developer Washington Property Co. has hired Colicchio Consulting, a food hall consulting firm, to help design the venue, identify an operator and provide input on the mix of vendors, according to a statement from WPC.
