Southwest extends 737 Max cancellations into November

Southwest Airlines extended cancellations from the grounding of the 737 Max into November, following similar moves by American Airlines and United Airlines. The most recent guidance the Dallas-based airline previously gave was cancellation of flights through Oct. 2. With Thursday’s announcement that the date is pushed back to Nov. 2, it means thousands more flights will cancelled.
