A Baltimore logistics firm has broken ground on a $61 million facility in Alabama. MTC Logistics will generate 50 to 70 direct jobs when its 12 million cubic feet international temperature-controlled distribution center opens in the Port of Mobile. Company leaders plan for the facility to be open in the fourth quarter of 2020, and it will provide shippers several services, including blast freezing, port drayage and less than truckload consolidation.
