Report: Nurses make 62% less than doctors working in Maryland

Maryland nurses make 62% less than doctors working in the state. That is one of the 10 smallest nurse-physician wage gaps in the country, according to a new report. The average registered nurse owes about $30,000 in school debt, and will make $75,510 per year. Doctors working as general practitioners have about $190,000 of school debt and make about $211,780.
