Johns Hopkins Medicine is opening a new center that is focusing on reducing misdiagnosis in health care. The Armstrong Institute Center for Diagnostic Excellence was created through a $5 million gift from C. Michael Armstrong, a former Hopkins Medicine chairman who also provided funding for the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality over five years ago.
