AEG Live to protest city over Pier Six contract

AEG Live is protesting the city’s plan to award a contract to run the Pier Six concert pavilion to Live Nation and SMG, claiming the Baltimore Development Corp. compromised the public bidding process. The Los Angeles concert promoter has filed a written protest to the city’s Board of Estimates, which is expected to approve an operating contract for up to 10 years with Live Nation and SMG at its weekly meeting Wednesday.
