Baltimore Running Festival has new sponsors, gets boost from local runners

The Baltimore Running Festival is just under two weeks away and the race organizer, Corrigan Sports Enterprises, is expecting participation to be up from last year to go along with some new sponsors. Lee Corrigan, president of Elkridge-based Corrigan Sports, said registration for the 16th annual Baltimore Running Festival on Oct. 15 is up about 2 percent over last year, which was the first time in the event’s history registration didn’t grow.
