Baltimore residents and tourists can now add biking to their list of transportation options in town. The city’s new bike share program officially launched Friday with a rollout of 200 electric-assisted bikes and 20 rental stations around the city. Bikes should be available for rental at all stations by the end of the day. Baltimore’s system is the largest fleet of electric-assisted bikes in the western hemisphere.
