Tony Brandon, president and general manager of Baltimore’s WYPR for the past 16 years, will retire on June 30, the station said Thursday. WYPR’s board of directors has begun a national search for his replacement, led by Stanton Chase Baltimore. In its search for a new president, the business management firm will ask WYPR staff and stakeholders what traits they want to see in Brandon’s replacement.
