Notre Dame of Maryland University, the state’s only women’s college, accepted its largest ever class of incoming freshman this academic year. The 220-student freshman class size may seem small, especially when compared to other nearby schools like Loyola University Maryland and Morgan State University, which accepted freshman classes of between 1,000 to 2,000 students this year. But it marks a 47 percent increase over last year’s incoming class size at the 124-year-old Baltimore institution.…
