The Pier Six Pavilion along the Inner Harbor is undergoing a multimillion-dollar overhaul, with a new tent and seats set to debut for the 2018 concert season. The city approved in late 2016 a 10-year contract for SMG and Live Nation to take over control of the waterfront venue. The bid included a guarantee of upgrades to the 37-year-old pavilion.
