Worker incentives derail manufacturing tax breaks in Annapolis

A debate over incentives for workers appears to have taken the steam out of a push to give Maryland manufacturers tax breaks during this year’s General Assembly. The issue of manufacturing tax breaks vaulted to prominence when Gov. Larry Hogan proposed the idea during his January State of the State speech.
