Unemployment claims in Maryland dropped for the third week in a row last week, a decrease of about 12,000 from the prior week. New data released Thursday by the U.S. Department of Labor show 36,471 Marylanders filed for unemployment for the week ending April 25, bringing the state’s total to more than 385,000 over the past six weeks.
