It’s no surprise that Maryland residents are giving mostly to Democrats in the first few months since Donald Trump became president. In last year’s presidential election, Democrat Hillary Clinton won 60.3 percent of the vote compared to 33.9 percent for Trump in the deep-blue state. In the first quarter of 2017, Maryland gave $406,751 to the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee or Democratic Senate Campaign Committee , according to federal campaign records.…
