Silver Diner closing Laurel location after 25 years

Regulars at the Laurel Silver Diner will have to find another place for their diner fix, as the location of the local chain shut its doors for good April 12. Owners Bob Giaimo and Ype Von Hengst emailed customers about the closure, pointing out that Silver Diner’s Greenbelt location, at 6040 Greenbelt Road, is just 15 minutes from the Laurel location.
