River Hill High School maintained its ranking as the public school with the highest mean SAT score in Greater Baltimore. The Howard County school had a mean total score of 1309, a 30-point increase from last year. The SAT is comprised of two sections – Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math – where 800 is the highest possible score in each.
