Ellicott City’s 8,000-square-foot Gaither Farm estate won’t be going to auction after all. Alex Cooper Auctioneers canceled the Dec. 5 auction for the sprawling property after the house pre-sold for $1.22 million, according to Alex Cooper’s Scott Frank, who was leading the auction.
