Bell Foundry building in Station North sold to investors for 'urban living complex'

The Bell Foundry in Station North — condemned by the city and mired in controversy two years ago for code violations — has changed hands for $725,000. The two-story brick building at 1539 N. Calvert St. sold this month to a partnership between Zahlco Development and RSG Acquisitions. The investors plan to convert the 13,000-square-foot space into an “urban living complex” with upgraded living space.
