Lexington Market to be demolished, rebuilt under new plan

Lexington Market would be demolished and rebuilt on an adjacent lot under a new plan announced by the Baltimore Public Markets Corp. on Friday. The 233-year-old market’s current location would be razed starting in early 2018, and a new 97,000-square-foot market would be built on a nearby parking lot between Eutaw and Paca streets.
