About 6,000 Baltimore City youth went to work Monday as part of Baltimore City’s YouthWorks summer jobs program, a number on par with last year’s record placement. A total of 8,000 youth ages 14-21 will work for five weeks in health care, hospitality/tourism, finance, construction, law and government jobs.
