D.C. chef beats out Charleston's Cindy Wolf for James Beard Award

It wasn’t in the cards for Baltimore to have back-to-back James Beard Award winners as Charleston chef Cindy Wolf fell short of the award again in her fifth time being named a finalist. Aaron Silverman of Rose’s Luxury in Washington, D.C., took home the award in Wolf’s category, Best Chef: Mid Atlantic. The James Beard Award winners were announced Monday during the 26th annual ceremony at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Wolf has been named a finalist in 2006, 2008 and in each of the past three years.…
