Bryn Mawr School headmistress stepping down in 2017

Bryn Mawr School Headmistress Maureen E. Walsh will leave the position at the end of the 2016-17 school year, she announced Friday. Walsh has been the headmistress at the Roland Park all-girls private school for 14 years. “It has been an extraordinarily rewarding and satisfying experience for me to lead this school, and I thank the trustees for the privilege of serving as Bryn Mawr’s headmistress for all these years,” Walsh, 59, said in a letter to the Bryn Mawr community.
