Chesapeake Employers' Insurance Co. gives $750K to state opioid abuse efforts

Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Co., a workers’ compensation insurance company, is giving $750,000 to Maryland’s health department to put toward combating opioid overdoses and abuse. The gift will come in three $250,000 installments between fiscal 2016 and fiscal 2018.
