Residents ordered to seek shelter after chemical leak in Curtis Bay

Residents in Curtis Bay are being told to stay indoors after a chemical leak occurred in the area on Monday afternoon. The Baltimore Office of Emergency Management ordered residents in a one-mile radius of 3400 Fairfield Rd., to seek shelter. Affected ZIP codes include 21060, 21225 and 21226. Officials from the Office of Emergency Management and the Baltimore City Fire Department could not be reached. Curtis Bay is a hotbed for industrial manufacturing facilities.
